About QuietGarage

QuietGarage is an independent car-research site. It answers two questions the big listing sites don't: what actually breaks on this car, engine by engine — and what it costs to run.

Where the numbers come from

Every reliability figure is built from public federal records: NHTSA complaint and recall data, decoded down to the exact engine through the VIN prefix each complaint carries, and EPA fuel-economy test data. Each page links its sources and states its limitations — including what the data cannot tell you.

What we will never do

We will never sell your information to dealers. No email wall, no phone number, no "unlock the price" form. The sites that do that make their money selling your number — that is exactly why they can't stop. We'd rather run ads you can ignore than calls you can't.
